1 Introduction


By participating in events, competitions, or opportunities via Doordom Gallery, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions, including but not limited to all of the prize participation rules, clearly stated on all communication relevant to any of the prizes and our privacy policy.


For the purposes of this he agreed parties are Doordom Gallery (also referred to as “we” or “us”) and The Applicant (anyone who submits their work for the competition via https://www.doordom.co.uk, also referred to as “applicant” or “participant”).


Doordom Gallery reserves the right to periodically revise or update these legal terms of use at our sole discretion. Any amendments will be promptly posted on this website and take effect immediately, unless they pertain to a specific prize competition, in which case participants will be informed via email. It is your responsibility to regularly review these terms for updates. By accessing and using this website, you agree to comply with these terms. By using the site or service, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Doordom Gallery, its subsidiaries, affiliates, contractors, and partners, as well as their officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives from any claims or demands, including reasonable attorney's fees, made by third parties due to your use of the site or service, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of any third party rights.

2 Ownership and Usage Rights

Participants retain the copyright and all other intellectual property rights to their artwork;

By entering the competition, participants grant the organisers a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, publish, and display the submitted artwork for promotional and marketing purposes related to the competition, online exhibition, and future competitions/exhibitions only.

3 Fees

All involved fees are non-refundable in the event of disqualification, mistakes in application or any transfers sent after the payment deadline.

4 Liability

Participants assume full responsibility for their entries and any consequences resulting from their participation in the competition;

The organisers will not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury incurred by participants while participating in the competition.

6 Prize Judging Criteria

Artworks will be judged based on originality, creativity, artistic skill, and adherence to the theme (if applicable).

The decisions of the judging panel are final and binding in all matters related to the competition.

The organisers retain the right to reject any entry for any reason.

7 Fees

The initial prize entry is free of charge. Only those who are selected as finalists & winners will need to pay £25 fee to be exhibited as part of the prize winners display on Doordom Gallery online platform.

The participants hold the responsibility to pay the fees before the deadlines indicated in the notification email from the organisers. The fees are non-refundable in case of disqualification or transfers sent after the payment deadline.

8 Prizes

The prizes for the Arts Competition will be clearly stated on the competition website or promotional materials.

The winners will be offered the opportunity to have a solo exhibitions hosted on Doordom Gallery online platform. For the exhibitions, the winners must provide minimum 5 artworks in total without any additional cost. The winners can submit up to 5 more artwork on top of the minimum, at the cost of £2 per 1 artwork.

9 Notification of Winners

Winners will be notified through the contact information provided during the submission process.

If a winner does not respond within a period of a 7 days, the organisers reserve the right to disqualify the winner and select an alternate winner.

10 Publicity and Promotion

Participants agree to cooperate with the organisers and consent to the use of their names, and artworks for promotional purposes without additional compensation.

11 Disqualification

The organisers reserve the right to disqualify any participant who violates these terms and conditions or attempts to manipulate the competition process.

The organisers reserve the right to disqualify works that promote hate culture or discrimination against minorities.

12 Liability

Participants assume full responsibility for their entries and any consequences resulting from their participation in the competition.

The organisers will not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury incurred by participants while participating in the competition.

13 Modification or Cancellation

The organisers reserve the right to modify, extend, or cancel the competition if unforeseen circumstances arise or for any reason deemed relevant by the organisers.

The organisers must inform the participants if any changes to guidelines and deadlines occur. The participants will then be allowed to amend their application to the new guidelines within the timeframe specified by the organisers. If the fees had already been paid adhering to previous guidelines, no further cost will be required.

14 Contact & Communications

For any inquiries or clarifications regarding the Art and Photography Competition or these terms and conditions, please contact us via email via our contact page on our website.

The artist is required to personally handle communications, and no intermediaries, agents, or representatives are permitted to negotiate on the artist's behalf. Only the artist is authorised to receive awards, and the organisation retains the right to decline interactions with any individual at its discretion. Awards cannot be collected by agents, representatives, or any third party on behalf of the artists.

Doordom Gallery periodically sends newsletters to its subscribed artists. By submitting an application for a competition, exhibition, or opportunity through email or the website, you are consenting to receive emails from the organisation containing updates and communications related to the respective competition, exhibition, or opportunity. Additionally, you are subscribing to receive further updates through the organisation's email newsletter. If you wish to stop receiving these emails, you can do so by following the hyperlink “Unsubscribe” provided in every promotional newsletter. Alternatively, you may contact us directly using the website's contact form or the email address provided on the website. We understand the value of your time and are committed to being prompt and responsive to your inquiries, ensuring we accommodate your requests.

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom
